As beautiful as the churches in Savannah GA. Not expected along the interstate in rural Kansas!

My 19 year old son suggested that we take a detour of the Cathedral of the Plains on our way from Tennessee to Colorado and so we did! Are we ever glad that we did not miss this jewel!! It not only gave us a little break from a long trip but also a heart boost!! Both boys lit a candle as I read the prayer posted next to the candles. You see, these boys were headed to work for a Christian Ministry camp and it was the exact blessing they needed for their summer! Don't miss the Cathedral of the Plains and don't miss the reading of the blessing!!! We loved this stop! Detours are good!!!

Coming from Germany, we had to take a stop to see this church. Amazing: There are inscriptions in German language on most windows and even in the corner stone. Very impressive! Vielen Dank und beste Grüße aus Deutschland!
